5 Revisions: Ra.One

1 – Indian Setting :
The setting is Mumbai – or a fictional Mumbai-like city (New York has Gotham, Mumbai has… Lemuria? Look it up.) This is a new hero for India.
2 – Ra.One is Fear :
He’s a computer program, that inhabits angry people. We should care about the people he’s inhabiting. In this case a brother figure that is opposite Shekhar, someone who is very close to him, but jealous of him and his life. Someone who Ra.One could convince – in anger – to set him free. The transformation of Arjan Rampal’s character from friend into pure evil would be dramatic and sad.
3. – Do Not Kill the Father :
Shekhar lives.
4. – I am G.One :
Hero origin stories are crucial, so in this case G.One is whoever is wearing the suit, provide your own courage. Shekhar, facing the prospect of his son in danger would be the perfect fit. This sets up future films with the option of other people wearing the suit. Maybe Prateek, maybe his wife Sonia, or even a foreigner living in Calcutta who needs to fight the Maoists.
5. – Video Game plot as foreshadowing :
The video game within the movie should hint at other villains, to be used in future movies. Each one can be based on the rich mythology of Hindu legend. Ra.One is just one of the many villains that are waiting to get out of the computer and kill you.
So that’s how I would change Ra.One. What are your revisions?
