Their tracking system is flawed and they know it, since they refused to show us any evidence of our traffic and eventually wiped out the bill to make way for our return. They gave a huge amount of bill even when i was within my download limit. However, later, since I was using net meter to check my usage, I calculated the data usage and found out that Airtel actually counts "Download+Upload" and since torrents upload and download simultaneously... thus yours and mine bill's large amount is justified I faced the similar problem when I first switched to Airtel.
